Effective September 10, 2026. This policy explains how Schematic Generator handles information used by its AI schematic-generation service at schematicgenerator.com.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as email address, display name, password hash, communication preferences, subscription status, and generation allowances. We process prompts, uploaded reference images, generated build metadata, feedback, and files. We also collect limited technical information such as IP-derived abuse-prevention hashes, browser cookies, timestamps, request logs, and security events.
Payment details are collected by Stripe. Schematic Generator receives transaction identifiers, customer email, purchase or subscription status, and limited billing metadata; it does not store full payment-card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to create and deliver builds, maintain accounts and licenses, process purchases, provide support, prevent abuse, secure and improve the service, comply with law, and enforce our terms. If you separately opt in, we may send product updates or promotions. Transactional account, security, download, and purchase messages do not require marketing consent.
Public content
Prompts, previews, display-name attribution, and build files designated public may appear in the community gallery. Private and locked builds are not intentionally published before their stated release or an administrator's explicit action.
Sharing and service providers
Uploaded reference images are transmitted to third-party AI providers for image preparation and 3D reconstruction. We otherwise disclose information only as needed to providers that support hosting, AI processing, email delivery, payment processing, security, and analytics; to comply with legal obligations; to protect rights and safety; or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information for money or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Marketing choices
Marketing email is optional and unchecked by default. You can change the preference on your Profile page or use the unsubscribe mechanism in a promotional message. Unsubscribing does not stop necessary transactional messages.
Retention and security
We retain account, transaction, licensing, and build records as reasonably needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute handling, and abuse prevention. Retention periods vary by record type. We use access controls, TLS, password hashing, protected secret storage, and other reasonable safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, subject to identity verification and legal exceptions. You may opt out of marketing at any time. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply, including rights to know, correct, delete, or limit certain processing without discriminatory treatment.
Cookies and browser signals
We use essential cookies for sessions, generation ownership, and abuse limits. The service does not currently respond to legacy Do Not Track signals because no common standard defines their effect. Where legally required, we will honor applicable browser-based privacy preference signals.
Children and international use
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Information may be processed in countries where Schematic Generator and its providers operate, with protections required by applicable law.
